We are looking for a Full Stack Developer (Remote) who wants to create clean, readable code and implement seamless responsive user interface for our new influencer marketing platform.

 

As a Full Stack Developer, you will be a core team member to drive innovation and implement new features to our application. Your work will power gen.video and impact our clients globally

 

About gen.video: 

gen.video is the only influencer marketing platform with a suite of shoppable media and retailer tracking tools that offer functionality to drive and track social commerce. We work together with some of the top brands in the world to bring influencer content onto social media. Our platform includes e-commerce features such as inventory monitoring, content syndication, performance analytics, and sales conversion data at key retailers including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and dozens more.

 

About our dev team: 

We're a small, tight-knit team of software engineers who like to get things done with minimal management/meetings overhead.  

 

About projects and responsibilities: 

  • Work on our web apps and create clean readable js/php, html and sass code 
  • Modify existing frontend/backend functionality to provide seamless experience 
  • Build complete solutions or collaborate with frontend/backend engineers, designers and product managers as an active member of a cross-functional team 
  • Take responsibility for your code throughout the entire development cycle
  • Take full control of our frontend/backend architecture
  • Manage automating of the build process for production, using task runners and scripts
  • Take responsibility for security updates and optimizations
     

About you: 

REQUIRED: 

  • 2+ years of experience in a full stack role
  • Experience with PHP(Laravel), HTML, CSS, and JavaScript 
  • Understanding of asynchronous JavaScript and promises
  • Experience with AngularJS 1.x, Vue or similar frameworks such as React
  • Experience with automation tools such as Grunt, Gulp, or Bower
  • Understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
  • Experience with responsive design
  • Working knowledge of developing for cross-browser compatibility 

 

BONUS BUT NOT REQUIRED: 

  • Experience with SASS or LESS
  • Experience with Bootstrap
  • Visual and user experience design skills
  • Familiarity with the agile development process

The sales and marketing coordinator will be responsible for supporting both the sales and marketing teams across a wide variety of projects. This includes managing client-paid social campaigns across the top social networks utilizing influencer content and setting up meetings with potential new customers. This person will be a self-driver who fully owns the tasks assigned. There is substantial room for learning and growth on a small, but fast-growing team.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with Client Services, Sales, and Marketing teams
  • Manage access to influencer accounts for whitelisting
  • Coordinate post-production edits of content as needed 
  • Create, manage, and optimize client paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Google
  • Manage relationships with social media platform ad teams
  • Maintain 100% on-time launches of paid campaigns
  • Manage consistent and clear communication with internal teams
  • Be able to manage and, when appropriate, escalate challenging situations
  • Create and maintain internal documentation to ensure full execution and delivery 
  • Evaluate campaign performance and prepare post-campaign summaries
  • Develop best practices and become a subject matter expert
  • Create a list of brands and agencies who would be good customer targets
  • Reach out to potential new customers via email to set up meetings with the sales team
  • Coordinate and own multiple calendars
  • Organize and manage contacts in Hubspot CRM
  • Create blog posts, social posts, and other content to assist in new business efforts

 

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 1-2+ years of experience in paid social, influencer marketing and/or digital sales/BDR role. Preferably at an agency or online media company
  • Proven time-management, prioritization, and multi-tasking skills.

This includes building relationship with top social media influencers, managing content development and mastering the translation of social content for commerce applications. With the ever growing focus on marketing initiatives that are proven to drive sales, this person is required to understand the need to infuse brand messaging with influencer content, helping brands and influencers understand each other’s perspective. Leading some client relationships and collaborating on others, the Client Services Manager will partner across the organization with Talent Management, Account Managers for each client and our co-founders who oversee the organization and the largest clients personally. This person will join a small but empowered team running multi-million dollar books of business. Remote opportunities available based on experience and timelines.

As part of the gen.video Account Management Team you will be responsible for a portfolio of gen.video’s strategic clients, ensuring they are maximizing value through use of our technology. Success in this position requires a focus on client service, the ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment, and the ability to help shape and sell strategic influencer solutions. The position plays a key role in ensuring campaign success & communicating key campaign learnings to better support our clients. An Account Manger’s strategic and consultative expertise is considered critical to unlocking greater value and impact for our clients. This person will join a small but empowered team running multi-million dollar books of business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business, sales pipeline, and collaborate with key client stakeholders
  • Identify opportunities for organic growth; maintain client relationships; independently manage several small accounts or major projects on a larger accounts
  • Serve as the client contact on the overall business; set and manage client expectations, including developing, implementing and tracking measurements in line with program objectives; manage projects and programs, including implementation, evaluation, budget and timelines; develop yearly strategic/tactical programming for the account
  • Participate in client campaign kick-off calls to outline influencer selection and execution details.
  • Build recap decks, leveraging various sets of performance data and metrics.
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of industry and gen.video products 
  • Educate sales and clients on gen.video’s core offerings, and be fully informed about current industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide leadership in growing existing accounts; identify and pursue opportunities for developing new business; participate in new business process, including serving as a member of the pitch team, delivering strong analyses, strategy and concepts to new programs, and completing other duties as necessary; work with senior management to ensure superb presentation skills

Knowledge and Skills

  •  5+ years working in a digital/ influencer marketing environment required, strong preference for candidates with consumer electronics and/or grocery experience.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple clients and priorities with discretion.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to interact professionally with external and internal clients.
  • Comfortable working in a startup environment, creating organization and processes where none may already exist. Experience working at a startup preferred 
  • Knowledgeable of all major social platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, Twitter, YouTube).
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovations in the social realm.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
